We are advocating for legislation at both the state and federal levels to classify cranial prostheses as durable medical equipment, thereby ensuring they are covered benefits across all insurance plans.
We are actively involved in the community, partnering with
foundations and nonprofits to raise awareness about the necessity of
cranial prostheses for women experiencing medical hair loss.
Transformative Career Training
Through our program, we are committed to empowering underserved women in our community, including Black and Brown women and single mothers, by providing specialized training in cranial prosthesis creation and installation. Participants will learn how to craft and fit custom medical wigs designed for individuals with medical hair loss, combining technical expertise with compassion and professionalism.
By equipping women with the tools and knowledge needed to excel in this field, we not only help them create meaningful careers but also foster a ripple effect of giving back. Many women with medical hair loss—whether due to cancer, alopecia, or other conditions—are in desperate need of empathetic, skilled professionals who can restore their confidence and dignity.
This program is more than job training; it’s a chance to build wealth, create entrepreneurs, and give back to the very communities these women call home.
